Mercedes-Benz SIM271DE ECM read and write with OBDSTAR DC706 ECU Tool on bench perfectly. Only 2 mins!
You need a main OBD cable, OBDSTAR P004 Adapter and ECU Clone Jumper, 12V power supply to work with DC706 device.
Supply power to DC706, and keep charging and communication throughout the whole progress.
This function is available by connecting the server. Ensure the internet connection is normal during the process.
1.Connect device and Benz ECM
Select ECU Flasher>> ECM>> ECM newest software (i.e.ECM V30.28)>> BRAND>> BENZ
There are only 2 options. Select the correct menu based on the make and model on the ECM module.
Here select BENZ CONTINENTAL SIM271DE TC1796+ST95128 (BENCH)
Click Guide at the bottom left to check the best detection method
Click Pinout to check the wiring diagram and follow it to connect P004 Adapter and Benz ECM via OBDSTAR P004 ECU Clone Jumper
And then connect to DC706 ECU Tool via main cable
After connection, turn on the switch button on OBDSTAR P004 Adapter, and start to perform the read and write operations.
2.Read and write Benz ECM
Click "Connect" to verify security and connect ECU according to the prompts
Read INT eeprom (ST95128) and INT flash (TC1796) separately, and save the corresponding data file
Use the same connection method to connect OBDSTAR DC706 and a new Benz SIM271DE ECM
Then load the corresponding external data (EEPROM & Flash) to write into the new ECM
The write operation is completed, click disconnect to exit the system.
Done!
