If the Renault Security Gateway function is available for the vehicle, an OEM Authorization icon will appear on the diagnostics toolbar at the top of the interface. The customer can click this icon to purchase the function.
If the Renault Security Gateway function has been purchased before, the customer can go to OEM Authorization on the MaxiSys Job Menu to renew the subscription.
How is the Renault Security Gateway function utilized?

Navigate to Diagnostic or Service.
Read the Renault vehicle by auto detect or manual selection.
Click Unlock. If the function is not purchased yet, a pop-up will appear, and the function needs to be purchased as indicated by the pop-up.
Click OK when the device displays Unlock successfully, indicating that the security gateway is successfully unlocked.

There is an OEM Authorization icon on the MaxiSys Job Menu.

The OEM Authorization app can be used to check the account, the remaining available times that can be used, or the active OEM authorization period for a specific vehicle’s OEM authorization.
It can also be used to renew the subscription of OEM authorization.
Note: If the device has not purchased any Security Gateway function, it will show a blank page when entering OEM authorization.
If I paid $8.8, and after 24 hours it stopped working?

For $8.8, you can unlock the gateway and access the vehicle.
If you shut down the car and the gateway is restored, the gateway must be unlocked again.
If you don’t want to spend $8.8, you can use the gateway bypass cable.
Unlocking is valid for the same VIN for 24 hours and can be used a maximum of 3 times.
Access is by credit, meaning that each time you want to unlock the gateway on a vehicle, you will consume a credit.
