KTMflash Reads/Writes ECUs- How to?


How to use KTMflash to read/write ECUs (Infineon, gearbox, etc) here:
1You have to use software from obdexpress.co.uk

2 ECU flash
and the like cannot be installed in your PC/laptop before; that is, for your PC/laptop, it must be the first time to install KTMflash software.
You’re asked to re-install a clean operation system and install KTMflash sw with the help of a video of installation tutorial; otherwise, your device would be locked.

3 Here are folders
(KTMflash English... and KTMflash software...) inside the CD you should have. You can find out software and real tests which helps you a lot to use KTM flash.

4 The reason for why do you buy KTMflash is that, it’s good at reading Infineon ECUs and gearbox (transmission) ECU.

5 When you are reading encypted Infineon or ECUs, please read the password file (with reference to our video here). If the sw asks you to TURN OFF THE POWER SUPPLY FOR 2 SECONDS, please follow it.If the power is not off for 2 seconds, the pop-up might be appeared again in the interface. So, just turn it off for 2s and use the sw.

6 PLEASE FOLLOW THE VIDEO AND TUTORIAL TO CHOOSE THE SWITCH YOU’RE GONNA USE.

What can you do on BMW X5 with Foxwell NT520 (NT510)?


I borrowed a friend’s BMW NT510 (now it has another new NT520, the same on BMW) to reset my wife’s X5 remaining mileage countdown after I refilled the DEF. I was really impressed with his Foxwell with all the options that were given for BMWs.

How To register Xtool X-100 PAD Key Programmer

To register original XTOOL X-100 PAD , you login with e-mail address to complete registration.  Please follow the instruction below.

1.Well connect your XTOOL Scanner x100 pad with network/wifi
2.Power up the x-100 pad and welcome to main interface

Why you should have a Foxwell NT520 Pro (NT510)?

Foxwell NT520 Pro – This is for those looking a decent car diagnostic tool for his/her own car(s), usually as personal use.

Why did I said NT520 (NT510) is good for personal diagnostic?
Because:
  1. NT520 is used for diyer only (not for repair-shops)
usually good for a customer with one or two cars, better with five or less
5 programs at most for a unit (for 5 car brands)

Note that you can get ONLY 5 car brands software authorization with NT510, while you could get ALL software authorization with NT520 and install less than 5 programs on the NT520.

Please  delete the software you’re not using if you want another program. For example, if you have MB, VAG, GM, BMW, Volvo installed on your NT520, but now you need Ford software, you should remove one of programs you’ve installed and then install the Ford. It’s because the SD card storage limit will lead to bad user experience like running speed and also it’s necessary to leave some space for data recording in in diagnostic tests.


  1. Software from Foxwell is cheaper than that from Autel or Launch
Foxwell software authorization: 60 euro per program (with FREE update lifetime)
Autel software update: free for the first two year for English version & free for the first year for other language version, then 1200 usd per year for all programs
Launch software update: free for the first two years, then 499 usd per year for all programs

  1. NT520 is a hand-held tool
It depends. Some like handheld, some like pad, some like phones)


IMPORTANT: foxwell nt510 vs nt520

  1. hardware improvement:
Foxwell NT520 adopts 9X35 + 128MDPR + SPI (2.8-inch screen), which help start faster and running faster than NT510. And it would have better compatibility for some cars

  1. more cars and software authorization:
Mercedes Benz, Acura, Alfa Romeo, Abarth, American / European Ford (Not incl.
