Today we’re gonna use Lonsdor K518 Pro to program 2024 BYD Song Plus smart key. Here I have the original car key and a blank new key at hand.

The sensing area of this car is in front of the gear level position.
Now let’s lay the original car keys sideways.
Confirm key info, the number of keys is 1.
Plesae noted that all keys need to be programmed. Keys that do not program will not be usable. So that the orginal car key need to be programmed, too.
Smart key programming >> OK
Place the key that needs to be programmed in the induction coil.
Program key successfully.
Press OK to program next one.
Take the first key away, and put the new blank key in the induction coil.
Program successfully.
Now the number of programming keys is 2.
Let’s test whether this key remote control works normally.
Lock and unlock OK.
Start car OK.
Done.
