 Recently, some customers gave feedback that PCMTuner Smart Dongle had quality problems, such as the boots on the Dongle not being fully welded to the PCB and the Dongle become hot during use. A: It's not a quality problem. It's specially designed by PCMTuner team for safety factor. They don't let the chip be fully welded to the PCB. Because if you weld the chip or anyone tries to touch it, the dongle will damage soon and lock.

Q: Why will Dongle feel hot when it's working?

A: It's really normal. Any PCB work will expand heat, so it can be protected from damage due to the high temperature.
