How to use OBDSTAR DC706 to clone Volvo ECM? Which Volvo car models are supported?
OBDSTAR DC706 ECU Programmer can read, write INT/EXT Flash and EEPROM, and unlock ECU for Volvo ECMs. The operation mode (OBD/Bench/Boot) depends on the specific ECM type.
It’s easy and fast to perform the supported function, as DC706 has the corresponding wiring diagram and instruction in the device system. Just make sure the ECM and device connections are correct, and connect to the available internet.
For example:
Read/write and unlock Volvo DENSO MB279700–9801 SH72546 ECM on bench
Prepare other accessories incl. OBDSTAR P004 Adapter and ECU Clone Jumper, 12V power supply to work with DC706 and Volvo ECM
Select ECU Flasher>> ECM>> ECM V30.61>> 9801>> Volvo DENSO MB279700–9801 SH72546
Check the wiring diagram to connect OBDSTAR DC706 ECU Tool and Volvo ECM by P004 Adapter and ECU Clone Jumper correctly, and supply power to DC706 as well
After connection, click [Start], select [BENCH] and [P004]
Turn on the switch of OBDSTAR P004 Adapter on
Connect the ECU
Read INT flash and INT EEPROM data of the original ECM, and save the data after reading in sequence
Select the original ECM data just saved to write into the new Volvo ECM
All are successful, and unlock ECU OK as well.
