One customer gave feedback that he encountered some network issues while using the Autel MaxiIM IM608 PRO diagnostic tool.
Solution from OBDExpress.co.uk Engineer:
If you experience software crashes, network errors, or other application-related issues, you can capture system logs directly from your device and send them to Autel’s technical team for analysis. This helps their engineers identify the root cause of the problem.
Here’s how to capture and upload system logs using your Autel IM608 Pro:
Step-by-Step Guide:
1.Return to the Main Menu
If a function fails or the app crashes, navigate back to the home screen of your IM608 Pro.

2.Open MaxiTools
Select the MaxiTools application icon to open the utility menu.

3.Start Log Collection
Choose the Log option.
Tap Start to begin recording system logs related to the malfunction.
The tool will now collect diagnostic data. Please wait until the process completes.

4.Upload the Logs
Once log collection is finished, select Upload to send the data directly to Autel’s server.
Wait for the upload to complete. Do not turn off the device during this process.

5.Provide Your Device Serial Number
For further assistance, make sure to have your IM608 Pro serial number ready. Share it with Autel support to help them track your log submission.

This method also applies to the Autel IM608 II and other Autel IM608 series diagnostic tools.
