How to use OBDSTAR DC706 to read and write BOSCH ME17.8.8 ECM by bench?
It's easy and fast to operate with the operation guide and pinout in the device software.
Preparation:
BOSCH ME17.8.8 ECM (original+ new)
OBDSTAR DC706 ECU Tool with main cable
OBDSTAR P003 Adapter+ ECU Bench cables
Operation steps:
Keep DC706 charging and communicating during the process, and make sure the internet connection is normal.
Select ECU Flasher>> All>> ECM>> ECM V30.23>> ECU Brand>> BOSCH
Input me17 in the search box to quickly find out the ECM model- BAIC BOSCH ME17.8.8 TC1728 (BENCH+ P003)
Tap "Pinout" to check the wiring diagram, and follow it to connect OBDSTAR DC70 tablet, P003 Adapter Kit and ME17.8.8 ECM correctly
After connecting, tap "Start" to enter the operation interface
Click "Connect" to connect OBDSTAR P003 Adapter, DC706, and ECU…
Connection is successful.
Click "Read INT EEPROM" to read and save the original EEPROM data
Click "Read INT Flash" to read and save the original Flash data as well
Connect DC706 to new Bosch ME17.8.8 ECM via OBDSTAR P003 Adapter Kit and main cable
Click "Write INT EEPROM" to select the corresponding EEPROM file just saved to write
Click "Write INT Flash" to select the corresponding Flash file just saved to write as well
All read and write operations are completed.
Click "Disconnect" to quit the OBDSTAR DC706 system.
Done!
