In this article, we’ll demonstrate how to write VIN on Buick DELPHI MT60 ECM with OBDSTAR DC706 ECU Tool by bench. This can work on X300 Classic G3 as well.
Required Tools
OBDSTAR DC706
High-Power DC Regulated Power Supply
Main Cable
ECU Clone Jumper
DELPHI MT60 ECM
*Ensure to update software to the latest version before getting started.
ECU Flasher >> ECM >> Latest Version >> BUICK DELPHI MT60 TC1766
Tap [Guide] to carefully read the opeation introduction and connection method.
Please carefully review the operations for both BOOT and BENCH modes.
Open [Pinout], select [BENCH], and check if the module’s appearance is consistent.
Open [Connector Pinout] to connect accordingly.
After connecting, tap: Start >> OK >> Connect
*Note: For ECU cloning, choose BOOT mode!
After the connection is successful, first back up the original data.
After completing the data backup, tap [Write VIN].
Enter the VIN you want to modify.
Writing completed.
