Launch X431 IMMO Plus/IMMO Elite with X431 Key Programmer can read transponder, detect frequency, generate remote and program smart key to Honda CIVIC 2016 no issues.
Connect X431 IMMO Plus/Elite, X431 Remote Maker, and vehicle correctly, and make sure the network connection is normal.
Select [Update] to check if the software is in the latest version. If No, update it first. If Yes, go to next step.
1.Read transponder
Put the original car key into the coil of Launch Key Programmer to identify the chip info.
Remember the car key chip model after reading (IMMO type is transponder 47)
2.Detect frequency
Select [Frequency detection], still put the original key into the key programmer coil, and press the key remote control button to identify the key frequency successfully
3.Generate remote
Select Vehicle Remote>> All brands>> Honda>> BRV>> BRV KeylessGo ID47 >> Generate
Burn successfully
4.Add smart key
Select Anti-Theft Key Matching>> All Honda Smart Keys Lost
Turn ignition off and take a keyless access remote into the vehicle
Don't insert the keyless access remote even if the keyless access remote SLOT is available
Turn the ignition switch to On
Input the key number you want to register (i.e.1)
Turn the ignition switch to Off
Don't insert the keyless access remote even if the keyless access remote SLOT is available
Turn the ignition switch to On
Check if the keyless access remote and immobilizer indicator light go off
Turn the ignition switch to Off
Keyless function is registered too. It's no necessary to register or delete the immobilizer key separately
Register key with X431 IMMO Elite/IMMO Plus with Launch X431 Remote Maker successfully
Turn the ignition switch to Off
Check all keys to ensure each will start the engine, lock and unlock the doors
Don't insert the keyless access remote even if the keyless access remote SLOT is available
Turn the ignition switch to On
Done!
