Launch X431 X-Prog3 PC Adapter tutorials:
Clone VW & Audi DQ200 transmission computer with X431 X-Prog3 Immobilizer & Key Programmer and X-PROG3 DQ200XX Adapter Cable, works like a charm!
X-Prog3 PC Adapter + X431 X-Prog3= Launch X431 ECU & TCU Programmer
Both work with PC software to read, write and clone ECU & TCU, and also support Data Processing, anti-theft shutdown, and file verification. The main difference is that X431 ECU & TCU Programmer can work alone. No need X431 X-Prog3 and X431 tablet.
Besides, the PC software download links are different. But supports the same function.

Operation procedure:
1.Download and install X-Prog3 PC Adapter PC Software
2.Connect the X-PROG3 PC ADAPTOR to the computer using a cable, and then connect the X-PROG3 PC ADAPTOR to G3.
3.Run PC software, the serial number is automatically recognized by the X431 X-Prog3 PC Adapter, manually input the activation code which can be obtained from the envelope of the X-Prog3 PC Adapter.
Click [Activate] (only once, no need to activate it again later).
4.Enter DQ200 in the search box to quickly query the desired ECU

5.Go to the operation page
Click [Direct Connection Diagram] to obtain the ECU connection diagram, and then connect the DQ200 transmission computer and Launch X-Prog3 PC Adapter via the X-prog3 DQ200XX gearbox adapter (it's in the X-Prog 3 PC Adapter package).

6.Click "Connect" to read chip ID
7.Click "Read EEPROM data" and "Read FLASH data" in sequence, read and save the original data
8.Connect X431 XPROG3 PC Adapter to a new DQ200 transmission computer, and click "Write EEPROM data" and "Write FLASH data" in sequence, select the corresponding original data to write into the new ECU
9.Writing data successfully, click "Disconnect"
