Here comes with a new tutorial of Launch X431 X-Prog3 PC Adapter. It's successful to clone Jaguar MED17.9.7 TC1767 engine computer with X431 X-Prog3 Immobilizer & Key Programmer in bench mode.
Operation procedure:
1.Download and install X-Prog3 PC Adapter PC Software (if you have installed, skip this step)
2.Connect the X-PROG3 PC ADAPTOR to the computer using a cable, and then connect the X-PROG3 PC ADAPTOR to G3.
3.Run PC software, the serial number is automatically recognized by the X431 X-Prog3 PC Adapter, manually input the activation code which can be obtained from the envelope of the X-Prog3 PC Adapter.
Click [Activate] (only once, no need to activate it again later). (if you have activated, skip this step)
4.Enter med17.9.7 in the search box to quickly query the desired ECU
The corresponding search result:

5.Go to the operation page
Click [Direct Connection Diagram] to obtain the ECU connection diagram, and then connect the MED17.9.7 gearbox and X-Prog3 PC Adapter via the bench cable
6.Read chip ID- OK
7.Click "Read EEPROM data"
Read and save the original data
8.Click "Read FLASH data"
Read and save the original data
9.Connect X-431 XPROG3 PC Adapter to a new MED17.9.7 gearbox, and click "Write EEPROM data" and "Write FLASH data" in sequence, select the corresponding original data to write into the new ECU
10.Writing data successfully, click "Disconnect"
