OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 Program HONDA Motorcycle AKL

 Today, we’re programming a HONDA motorcycle K48E5 type immobilizer control module(ICM) with a single 33-pin connector and 3-button keys. Using the OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3(Key Master G3) for demonstration, and OBDSTAR MK70/ MS80(STD)/ ISCAN HONDA also support this function.

Step1. Read PIN from ECU

Carefully read the operating steps and precautions.

Start >> Read pin from ECU

1. Disassemble the SCU shell.
2. Connect the line and equipment according to the wiring diagram(12V power supply + OBD main line + MP001 programmer + C4–01 small board + W004 programmer line[connected according to the corresponding color] + SCU), please refer to the [Operation Instruction] of this interface.

Open the ICM’s cover and solder W004 and W005 to the SCU.

Follow the operation instruction to make connections.

After the connection is completed, tap [Back] and begin to read the key information from the ICM.

Please connect the MP001 programmer to the diagnostic device.

After the pincode is read, you can see there are multiple keys in the current SCU. Take a screenshot or photo for future reference.

Step2. All Keys Lost

Click [All keys lost].

1. This function requires MP001 programmer.
2. Connect the line and equipment according to the wiring diagram(12V power supply + OBD main line + MP001 programmer + M053 special harness[using 18PIN connector] + SCU), please refer to this interface[Operation Instruction].

Make connections according to the wiring diagram.

Please switch all keys to the disable mode.

A new key can be programmed at a time.

Press and hold the key symbol button for about 2s.

The LED lights green for working mode and red for entry mode.

Please connect the MP001 programmer to the diagnostic device.

Enter the 9-digit pincode just read.

Please switch the new key to the working mode.

After key verification, switch the key to working mode.

Place this key next to the immobilizer box and tap [OK].

key programming has completed.

Step3. Test Key

Select [Test Key] to verify if the key programming is successful.

Please switch the keys that to be tested to working mode and other keys to disabled mode.

The present key programmed.
