How to Clone Fiat ECM with OBDSTAR DC706 on Bench?

 OBDSTAR DC706 can clone most Fiat ECMs on bench, only GPEC3 MPC5674F by Boot so far. Here takes MAGNETI MARELLI IAW 10GF CAN MPC5642+95640 as an example to show how to clone ECM (read & write EEPROM & flash) with the newest ECM software V30.07. OBDSTAR P003 Adapter is required.

Operation guide:

Before the operation, prepare all devices incl. OBDSTAR DC706 unit, P004 ECU Clone Jumper, OBDSTAR P003 Kit, main cable, 12V2A charger and Fiat IAW 10GF ECM.

Connect 12V2A charger to DC706

Connect DC706 with internet, and make sure the network connection is normal

Select ECU Flasher>> ECM>> ECM V30.07>> Brand>> Quick search FIAT in the search box>> FIAT MAGNETI MARELLI IAW 10GF CAN MPC5642+95640 (BENCH+P003)

Click "Pinout" to check the wiring diagram, and connect DC706 device and Fiat ECM with the corresponding harness

Click "ECU info" to read the hardware version number, software number, fiat drawing, Homologation number, ISO code, programming date, ECU IMMO state, ECU Startup and ECU diag.

Click "Start" to enter operation page.

Click the corresponding option to read ECU info, connect P003 and OBDSTAR DC706 ECU Tool, read eeprom, read flash, write eeprom, write flash and disconnect.

Yanhua Mini ACDP Repair BMW FRM Module Without Coding

 This is a tutorial on how to use Yanhua Mini ACDP Module 8 to repair BMW FRM without coding. Make sure you've got the Module1 or Mini ACDP BMW full package before any operations.

Required Accessories

Connection

Install the fixed screws and FRM interface adapter. Note that the test pins on FRM interface adapter should be aligned with 4 test points. Lock 2 screws.

Connect the BDM01 adapter to the OBP+ICP adapter & FRM interface adapter.

Connect to ACDP and power up.

Operation

Mini ACDP APP >> Confirm in the upper right corner that ACDP connected >> BMW >> FRM >> Select according to the corresponding chip model: ICP MC9S12XEQ384(MASK: 3M25J) >> FRM Data Recovery(Automatic mode)

Confirm the ACDP device and the adapter are connected properly. Please back up all the data before performing the write operation.

Press "Confirm".

Waiting for pin detection to pass…

Press "Confirm".

Check the chip info read out:

If 4K EEPROM data is read, the FRM module data is not damaged. Please operate with caution.

If 32K Dflash data is read, the FRM module data is corrupt.

Press "Confirm".

Confirm the backup data path.

Check the frame number and other info:

If the parsed car info is incorrect, press "Cancel" to exit automatic repair.

If the info such as the car correct, press "Confirm".

1.Download and install CG100X software

2.Connect device

Connect CGDI CG100X Programmer to computer via the USB cable, and also connect with 12V 2A power supply

3.Register CG100X account

"Before activation, please log in to your account and bind your device."

Launch-X431 Activate EV Battery Pack Diagnostic Configuration

 New Launch X431 EV Diagnostic Upgrade Kit has been released recently, including activation card and adapters to analyse battery pack for specific electric vehicles. This is an instruction to guide to activate Launch-X431 new energy battery pack diagnostic configuration.

Requirements

Users should already have the X431 EV Diagnostic Upgrade Kit and X431 PAD V/ X431 PAD VII (Currently only supports the 2 models);

It's workable to choose either one below method for activation.

Method1. Activate via Job Menu

Update the main diagnostic app to latest version(PAD 5 V7.03.025/ PAD7 V7.00.021 or above), a New Energy Diagnose app will appear on the Job Menu.

Enter into New Energy Diagnose app, it covers all new energy vehicle diagnostic software included in the original product configuration.

Press Battery Pack Detection. The system will auto identify whether the current user account has been activated or not.

If not activated. It will navigate to the Mall module directly. Press Subscription Renewal Card Pay then enter 24-digit password to activate it. After successful activation, go to Software Update to download and install the battery pack diagnostic software.

If already activated but no having the battery pack diagnostic software. It'll go to Software Update to download.

If already activated and have the battery pack diagnostic software. It'll enter the battery pack brand selection screen.

Method2. Activate via Mall

Update the main diagnostic app to latest version(PAD 5 V7.03.025/ PAD7 V7.00.021 or above), press Mall on the Job Menu.

Go to: Other Software Package >> New energy battery pack diagnostic software package >> Subscription Renewal Card Pay

Press Subscription Renewal Card Pay then enter 24-digit password to activate it.

After successful activation, go to Software Update to download and install the battery pack diagnostic software.

When download is completed, press: New Energy Diagnose >> Battery Pack Detection. The system will enter the battery pack brand selection screen(pic.6).
