VVDI Prog manual: how to read/write BMW EWS3 (0D46)and EWS4 xL86D/0M89C (MC9S12DJ64)

First, how to read/write BMW EWS4

Step 1: You need vvdi prog and EWS4 adapter:

Step 2: follow the Vvdi prog EWS4 adapter connection instruction:

Put the EWS4 module in the adapter and fix/lock it

Step 3: follow the VVDI PROG & BMW EWS4 xL86D/0M89C (MC9S12DJ64) wiring diagram:

connect to vvdi prog

Please don’t lengthen the CLK and GND-C lines

Properties: (xL86D/0M89C)

EEPROM: 1KB

P-FLASH: 64KB

Wiring diagram:

MC9S12 reflash cable v1

Group 1:

GND

VCC

Group 2:

Purple line

Yellow line

Green line

Group 3:

GND-C

CLK

Step 4: vvdi prog read/write BMW EWS4:

EWS4.X(ADAPTER) option in   <4-IMMOBILIZER>-><BMW>  (Need EWS4 ADAPTER)

You must have VVDI PROG 4.6.2 software or new versions!!

Second, how to read/write BMW EWS3

Step 1: You need vvdi prog and EWS3 adapter:

 

Step 2: follow the Vvdi prog EWS3 adapter connection instruction:

Connect this pad to the EWS3 adapter MODB pad

Step 3: connect to vvdi prog programmer

Step 4: read/write a BMW EWS3 (0D46) module:

EWS3-KLINE(0D46J) option in <4-IMMOBILIZER>-> (Need EWS3 ADAPTER)

You must have VVDI PROG 4.6.1 software or new versions!!!
